PeopleRoy trained as a Chartered Accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) in London. Soon after qualifying he moved into the high-tech world of electronics, as Company Secretary for a company specializing in communications technology. Some years later he went as Finance Director into a plastics manufacturing company, where he supervised rapid growth and restructuring, both in the UK and overseas. During this time he also chaired a national trade association in the furniture industry. Now back in the role of practicing accountant, Roy oversees the finance and accounting systems for a range of independent businesses, where his considerable knowledge of HR and information systems and his commercial experience are invaluable.
